-not animated, just normal single image cursor. you can either set it up for your idle cursor (the one that just appears when doing nothing), or for you link cursor (the one that shows up when you are hovering over a link.)

-Image frames go up to 128 by 128 pixels and down to 32 by 32 pixels, so keep that in mind. it can obviously go as low as just 1 pixel on an empty frame, but you need to make sure you are going to be able to see it, so be mindful of what you ask. I'll let you know if i can't see it before i send it in so you are not getting an ant sized cursor, but still, i recommend something reasonable. you can use your default cursor for reference.

Here's a default cursor with a 32 by 32 frames. 19 tall and 11 pixels wide:

Here's a huge one. 128 by 128 on frame and 118 tall with 72 width. I'm pretty sure windows downscales these kinds of mouse down to 32 by 32. we'll see.

Either way, mistakes and hiccups are bound to arise. if anything happens i'll let you know. so yeah. that's all. we'll see how this goes. if there's demand, i'll do it again.

i finally figured out how to change and edit colors in aseprite. the more i use the program the more i begin to like it. it's a great piece of software, and i'm mad people aren't talking about the spray tool. it's my favorite thing so far.

i'm not participating this year. i got too much on my plate already and this just sounds like another disappointment waiting to happen. last year i didn't even made it in, even though ironically, i spent more time on that submission than the one before that year.

the older i get the more i realize that life doesn't really rewards efforts in an equal way; just because you spend so much time on something doesn't guarantee it'll be worth the trouble. you are better off doing things that you know will, regardless of public perception, leave you with more than going out and letting other people decide the worth of your work for you.
